Old Chain of Rocks Bridge

The Old Chain of Rocks Bridge is an incredible sight to behold, and it's well worth a visit if you're in St. Louis, Missouri area. Completed in 1929, the bridge spans the Mississippi River and features a distinctive zigzag design that makes it stand out from other bridges in the area.

What's even more interesting is that the bridge spans a section of the river where, if you're brave enough to swim across, you'll discover an incredible rock formation. This rock formation forms a natural channel, and it's known as the Old Chain of Rocks.

Since the water is calmest in this channel (which is adjacent to the Missouri shore), many people in the area used to take their boats through it in order to avoid having to pay tolls at other, more dangerous crossings.

One of the biggest attractions in St. Louis is the Arch, which you can get a fantastic view of from the bridge's pedestrian walkway. There are also several parking lots on each end of the bridge, so it's easy to access if you're driving.

So if you're looking for a unique and interesting sight to see in the St. Louis area, be sure to check out the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge and Kirkwood Heating & Air Conditioning for all of your cooling and heating needs! It's definitely worth a visit.
