About Glendale, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

A geographically compact community of just over one square mile, Glendale, like so many of the towns in this area, traces its beginnings to its relationship with the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Originally named for a station on that line, Glendale grew and prospered, occasionally altering its boundaries over the years, until it was incorporated in 1916 as a residential city.

Growth has been gradual here, as most of the community is restricted to single–family homes. That very restriction, however, is chiefly responsible for the harmonious nature of Glendale′s landscaping and architecture. The oldest residences date to the pre-statehood period when wealthy St. Louisans built country homes here as escapes from the summer heat of the city.

Today, the Algonquin Country Club provides a nexus of social and recreational opportunities, as does the Glendale Women′s Club. The Women′s Club is also responsible for the administration of the town′s Red Cross blood bank, which represents the most prominent of Glendale′s many community services.

Glendale shares the area′s weather pattern, with four distinct seasons and an average annual temperature in the mid–fifties. High temps in July will be around 90°F and the January lows will be about 20°F. A cheerful town with a long–standing tradition of friendliness, Glendale may fly beneath the radar, but is truly a St. Louis area gem.
