Furnace & Air Conditioning Installation, Repair & Maintenance
Proud to serve the Kirkwood community!
One of the first commuter suburbs in Missouri, Kirkwood dates to 1853 and owes its founding to the needs of the railroad. Even today, the town′s relationship with its rail history is front and center, as its historic Kirkwood Station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and remains a focal point for visiting photographers. The community′s extensive parkland boasts numerous venues to suit a variety of outdoor leisure activities, including picnicking, tennis, baseball, and ice skating.Kirkwood′s annual Greentree Festival recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. Staffed and run by volunteers, the festival includes such family–friendly events as a parade, a dog show, and, in the Folk–Life area, a reenactment of 18th and 19th century Missouri life and craftsmanship. The Kirkwood Farmer′s Market is a seasonal centerpiece of the historic downtown area. Open from April through December, the market offers visitors and locals alike a wide variety of shopping and dining options.
Kirkwood has four distinct seasons, with an average annual temperature in the mid–fifties. High temps in July will be around 90°F and the January lows will be about 20°F. The exceptional local schools, city services, and safe neighborhoods combine to preserve real estate values and make Kirkwood not only a great place to visit, but a fantastic community to call home.
