About Clayton, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Virginia native Ralph Clayton gave his name to the town when land he donated was chosen as the site of the county seat in 1877. After more than a quarter century of continued growth, Clayton had transformed from a simple farming community into a thriving town with its own newspaper, schoolhouse, and trolley service. Incorporated as a City in early 1913, Clayton rapidly found itself at the nexus of migration tide out of St. Louis, doubling its population and tripling the value of its real estate. Business continued to prosper here throughout the twentieth century and today the downtown area′s Central Business District and its skyscrapers provide a modern and metropolitan environment for the 21st century.

Despite the hearty business community here, over 80% of Clayton is still either residential or city parkland. In a move that shows the town′s committment to the health and security of its residents and visitors, Clayton enacted regulations in the summer of 2010 mandating a smoke–free environment in all public spaces. The town′s ten public parks offer a wide variety of venues and activities for all. Tennis, ice skating, and golf can all be pursued at various locations throughout Clayton. A great place to do business and a comfortable place to call home, Clayton′s weather is typically pleasant, with temperatures ranging, throughout the year, from the teens to the 90s.
